Thank you so much for your interest in Prima! We would love to have you in. For reservations, it’s a rolling window: you can book over the next 30 days, and reservations open on a daily basis at 12:00 pm. For example, on April 13th, guests can book today through May 13th. Starting at 12:00 pm, guests can book through May 14th.

We have limited space for large parties - 8+. Large parties up to 8 are bookable online, depending on availability. Parties of 8-14 people are only bookable via email reservations@primaboston.com or phone 617-804-7400. All parties over 5 over the phone require a credit card to hold the reservation. Any no-shows will result in a charge of $25 per person. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice on cancellations or modifications to an existing reservation.

The Rose Room and the Park Room are seated upon request. We never guarantee seating in any room unless it’s a private event. We also do our best to accommodate any other seating requests, but due to the demand, we aren’t able to guarantee a specific table, area, or room in the restaurant.

Parties of any size that want a specific space - i.e., Rose Room or Park Room - will have to be a private event. These private events can hold a maximum of 50 people for a standing cocktail-style event. These events require a deposit and a menu picked ahead of time. For private events, you can reach out to our event coordinator, Meg - meg@primaboston.com - you should expect a response within 48 hours!

Desserts! Our sister restaurant, Capo, has an amazing pastry program, and custom cakes can be ordered and delivered to Prima - but they must be ordered 1 week in advance. You may order from cakes@caposouthboston.com or through their website, Capo Cakes.

Outside dessert policy/cake cutting fee. We welcome outside desserts at a small fee of $4 per person, with a cap of $40.. We are happy to cut and plate the cakes - but if you insist on cutting, we still charge a fee.

Bar seating: bar seating is first-come, first-served until the bar is full. Then the bartenders run a waitlist. The bar waitlist is separate from the table waitlist controlled by the host stand. If you’d like to join the bar waitlist, you must be here in person and add your name to the list with a bartender. We welcome you to stand and enjoy a drink while you wait for a bar seat!
